Rainbow New Generation 2025
A return of our former children to start after the Covid-19 pandemic.
Rainbow New Generation 2025
Established in 2007, Rainbow New Generation 2025 (RNGS) has offered free educational opportunities to children from the central area and neighboring communities. The school began under limited conditions, using the shade of trees and the area beneath a house as temporary classrooms before moving to a small two-room shed. In 2015, with support from Mr. Trevor Syme, RNGS constructed a three-room building, which substantially enhanced the learning environment.
From 2007 to 2019, RNGS provided instruction in Khmer, mathematics, and English, as well as training in computer literacy, arts and crafts, and additional supplementary programs. The school also supported over 1,000 grade 9 students in preparing for the national examination.
Currently, Rainbow New Generation 2025 has resumed English classes, allowing approximately 100 children aged 7 to 13 from nearby villages to participate. The school aims to obtain further support to expand its offerings, including advanced English, Chinese, Korean, and computer courses for disadvantaged students who lack access to such educational opportunities elsewhere.
Rainbow New Generation 2025 provides a comprehensive suite of educational programs that address the academic and developmental needs of children and youth within the community. The current curriculum comprises the following components.
1. English Extra Classes
Focuses on developing both foundational skills in English communication to primary students.
2. Basic Mandarin Classes (Online)
Introduces students to Mandarin, emphasizing its significance as a prominent regional and global language (Our plan in 2026).
3. Basic ICT skills (Ms. Offices)
Introduce basic computer administration skills: Window Applications and Microsoft Offices.
