Community Schools
Partner schools near Rainbow New Generation have maintained a close relationship with the project since the time of Rainbow Orphanage. The nature of this collaboration has been influenced by the interests and expertise of international volunteer groups, who contribute a range of skills and preferences regarding supported activities. Many of these groups, frequently providing donations for projects or specific tasks, have engaged with public schools by teaching English, preparing sports fields and playgrounds, painting, gardening, developing educational materials, and organizing recreational activities.
Other volunteer groups have focused on community development initiatives such as constructing water wells, houses, and fences for village schools. In contrast, some groups have concentrated their efforts exclusively within Rainbow New Generation. In addition to volunteer contributions, the school’s broader development projects have attracted support from philanthropists, which has further enhanced its role as a center for education and community advancement
Building & Development Volunteer
WFC is establishing itself as a vital hub for community development and skill-building, centered on the expansion of the Reul Eco-Farm. The organization aims to transform the farm into a vocational training center that models sustainable agriculture, animal husbandry, and aquaculture—including the breeding of fish, frogs, and eels—for the wider community. To achieve this vision, WFC maintains an active building program and invites volunteers of all skill levels to contribute. Whether providing professional trade expertise or working as a motivated team under local guidance, supporters play a crucial role in creating lasting community change.
Teaching Volunteer at Locals
WFC currently collaborates with local government schools to provide basic English education to approximately 3,000 village children aged 6 to 15. Classes for grades 1 through 6 are led by local student volunteers and older Rainbow youth, who also serve as vital assistants for visiting international volunteers. While these easily accessible partner schools are equipped with basic furniture, the program continues to seek contributions of teaching materials to improve the learning environment.
Long-term Supports
The Library Project at a Local Primary School serves as a vital educational initiative supported by philanthropists and international volunteers. These partnerships provide essential teaching and learning materials to empower local students. By establishing a dedicated space for literacy, this project strengthens the school’s role as a central hub for community education and advancement.
